Students participate in a variety of activities such as art, drama, library, music, technology, physical education, and more.
Art
Students learn a variety of styles and techniques as they increase in grade. Projects include perspective sketches, graffiti names, landscapes, pop art, and many others.
Drama
All students take drama classes and participate in an annual school play. Students are also given opportunities to participate in drimes, one-acts, and dances.
Library
Our library offers a variety of books and an enjoyable work space for students.
Music
We have talented teachers who provide instruction to students in music class. They learn rhythm, how to read notes, sing, and play instruments such as hand bells, drums, and boomwhackers.
Our Senior Learning Centre students may learn piano or guitar during lunch hour once a week. Students may also have an opportunity to join the chapel worship team.
Physical Education
Students enjoy swimming, skiing, rock climbing, skating, and gymnastics, as well as trips to the Morinville Leisure Centre for volleyball, basketball, dodgeball, and badminton.
Senior Learning Centre Option Courses
Students in the Senior Learning Centre have option classes that run for two-month periods. Options include outdoor education, Minecraft coding, sewing, babysitting, baking/cooking, construction, and French.
Technology
All students have access to their own personal Chromebook. They learn to use Google Workspace for educational purposes, as well as to practice typing, learn coding, make posters, edit videos, and more.
